Daly City weather tends to be fairly mild in general. It’s often noted that the climate here is quite similar to that of the Mediterranean. The region has water on three sides which has a heavy influence on the local climate.  Especially the Pacific Ocean whose currents of cool water play into the temperatures here.

Winters can be wet, in Daly City, CA, while summers on the whole are drier.  The average temperature for weather in Daly City, CA doesn't fluctuate greatly and usually ranges between 50° and 70°  Fahrenheit. (In Celsius that’s a range of about 15° to 25°).  The warmest month of the year is October while the coldest month of the year is usually January.

The weather in Daly City, California isn’t very unlike its larger neighbor to the north,  San Francisco. There’s a famous quote that says, “The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco.” Indeed, this area is know for its foggy days and the thick fog that can sometimes envelope the region.  Many find the weather to be cool in Daly City, CA even in the summer, just as the quote says about it's neighbor across the Bay,  but they also see it as a relief from the heat you find in other locales during the hot months.

Fog and summer chills aside, the area is quite mild with consistantly moderate temperatures year round making for a desirable all around climate.
